This page is an exercise in 21st century protest. In the 20th century, we took to the streets with signs and screams against the injustices of the world. These things should still happen in the present, BUT the cyberworld offers a new way to protest. To tell the world of your personal struggles with finances, racism, sexism, this idiotic war we are in, the list goes on and on, and we hope that many, many of you will add to it as we make this page into a huge statement to be read by the likes of Obama and Clinton (I would say BUsh, but let's be real here), as well as your fellow citizens on planet earth.Let's teach each other, through our own words, how to stand up again, and reclaim this planet. To take it back from the aristocracy that runs it. Democracy is a myth (especially in the U.S., which claims it so flagrantly) ANd many other countries, such as Iraq , which we are raping presently, suffer far worse fates.THe power of words is one of our greatest possesions. Words made the United States. In theory, this should be a great country. However, presently, we are far, far from what our creators put down in words.Every day, we hear stories from our friends who are about to lose their homes , or cars. People who are forced to live on an unfair welfare system. People struggling to feed themselves, or even their children. Again, the list goes on and on. The main cause of most of this misery...the war in Iraq. It has put us 3 trillion dollars in debt, and now we face the worst recession in years. All because of Bush, and Cheney, and company, needing to try to prove to the world that thier testicles are huge!So, we invite you to join in this site. We will post blog topics, and then, through the comments option, you can post your story around that topic. We also invite you to message us with your own ideas for topics you would like to see posted. We do hope to take this pages message beyond myspace, eventually, and put it in the faces of politicians, and people in power , who need to be reminded of whom they are supposed to represent.
