Through the chance meeting between Stills and Young at a gig in 1965 that planted the seeds of their eventual collaboration in Buffalo Springfield; to their pre-show backstage fistfight in 1968 that ended this initial work together; forged inbetween with the other members of the Buffalo Springfield is a body of work that has withstood the test of time, and left an incalcuable influence on popular music and culture. This page is but a small tribute to a most classic band. Richie Furay, Dewey Martin, Jim Messina, Stephen Stills, Neil Young and Bruce Palmer pooled their immense talents between 1966-68 to give the world Buffalo Springfield, a world that remains grateful and bettered from their contribution to it.
