My interests are wide and varied. I guess my main interest is spending as much time with my husband, Simon, as possible. After that, I really like kids (most of the time), cats (although Simon is allergic), anything fattening to eat, movies, reading books, watching tv, talking to my friends online. That's about all I can think of currently, although I'm sure I'm interested in a multitude more. Guess I'll update this when I can think of them.
Pretty much I'm interested in meeting old friends. People I haven't seen or talked to in a long time...
Man, it's hard for me to specify. I like pretty much everything besides country, rap and r&b. I've been listening to a lot of Green Day lately since they are Simon's fav and I really like the American Idiot CD. (if you haven't heard 'wake me when september ends', you're missing out!) I guess my first choice would be The Corrs (an irish band for those that don't know) and I've always loved Madonna. I like Jet, James Galway (flute), Mozart, Neil Diamond (oh yeah, baby - biggest fan!!), Michael W Smith, Squirrel Nut Zippers. I guess you could say my taste is just a tad eclectic (that mean wide and varied for those without a thesaurus). Man, I'm a smartass!!
I love the cheesy 80's movies - Some Kind of Wonderful, Say Anything, Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Of course, I can't forget my all time favorite, The Princess Bride (only seen it about 500 times - no exaggerating!). My taste in movies is like my taste in music, it has a little of everything. The Shawshank Redemption, Office Space (great quotes), Saving Silverman (see music section for Neil Diamond comments), Snatch, Moulin Rouge, Spider-man 1 & 2. Yeah, I can only list so many and my fingers are starting to get tired...
Current addictions: Desperate Housewives (hilarious), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (touching), all varieties of CSI, all varieties of Law & Order, anything on TLC (especially What Not to Wear and Overhaulin'), Jeopardy - dang! I watch too much TV!!!!
I can't pick any specific books, they are too varied to list them all here. However, I will specify authors: Nora Roberts, Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Sandra Brown, Catherine Coulter, Diana Gabaldon, Anne Rivers Siddon, Maeve Binchy - and that's just to name a few....
My main heroes are my parents. They've managed to raise 3 relatively normal women and still stay married for almost 40 years. Actually, they're pretty inspiring people in case anyone else needs a hero to borrow!
