For 2 years that they have been together, the Cryochamber members have been busy living their own, individual lives. But never forgets that they are a band... a group that will thrive in the musical industry later on when they have achieved being financially settled first as individuals.
One of them is a Geographer looking for a stable job in the Philippines; she is based in Cavite... another is a Licensed Physical Therapist that is now taking up Nursing; he is based in Quezon City... another one is a Licensed Chemical Engineer that was taken in by a big computer company but he turned it down because he wants his first career to be related to Chemical Engineering; he is based in Mindanao... and the last member is another Licensed Chemical Engineer who left the Philippines to see what USA will bring for her future.
All of them are financially unstable. None of them works full-time in any place. And they are scattered all over the Philippines (and the world)... So how do they manage to make these original songs?
Every year, they'd be meeting at least twice... to jam, record, or just to fool around. But most of the time, they just jam in a studio within Quezon City. They are just happy feeling the music flow from the 4 of them. They have intended to submit a copy of their songs in a local radio station. But they never did. Until their manager saw their potential. Then they got gigs. They got very famous to their small circle of friends. It's a start. And a good one too. Right now, they're just waiting for their last member to go back to the Philippines to get on with their gigs.
That's one thing about them... they are CRYOCHAMBER . That never changes. So when the vocalist says that she is not available, then the whole band postpones. When the guitarist says that he has some work to do, then the whole band will make way for it. When the bassist said that he won't be back for until 3 or 6 months, then the whole band waits. When the drummer asked if they could wait for her until she gets back after a couple of months or so, the whole band answered yes. And believe me, they do this almost all the time!!! But they never look for substitutes. Not even for a single meeting. They are Cryochamber .
So if they do this all the time (not meeting with each other), then how in the world were they able to produce these songs? How do they know how to play a song if they don't even take it too seriously? They must have not even mastered a single original song for a recording!!! I myself am surprised on how they manage to feel like they belong together everytime they meet. It's amazing how they act like they gather everyday when in fact that's their first meeting after half a year!!! There must be something about the chemistry between these guys when they play their music... That's why their potential as a band is the first thing that hit my mind. These people rock!!!
Going back to the question of how they make the songs... The answer is quite simple: Music is so powerful that it can bring people together -- it knows no bounds -- and it flows naturally from their feelings to their instruments.
Don't you think MUSIC is what they have?
(OBVIOUS BA?)
