I love music, sports, and having a good time with friends! I am going to Lincoln College and I love it here! I'm President of Student Senate and I work in the schools Student Center. I'm President of our Yearbook and I help out with theatre shows. I have a 4.0 and I'm in choir and Express. I'm in Phi Theta Kappa and have been in many theatre productions the past two years. Even though, I'm a very busy person I still try to make time for friends. I'm the type who can have a good time just chillin' around the room or going out to a show. I'm usually up for just about everything. I don't really drink, not that there's anything wrong with it, its just not me. And sorry, but I'm not real big on drugs either, of any kind. I'm always up for trying something new and my new goal for college is not to be scared of anything. Basically, don't think about what you're doing, just go out and do it! Take a risk and make a name for yourself. Oh..... and have fun while you're young! (However, be careful, don't be stupid and don't do anything to screw up the rest of your life.)
"The Nature My Eyes See"
The nature my eyes see is beautiful. The morning air is crisp. The sun is shining bright and the clouds are white. Gazing towards the sky, it looks like heaven. The sound of wind coming up behind my ears, as it gently nudges the hair on my head forward. I close my eyes and a smile creeps across my face. The ground feels light beneath my feet. There is a spring in my step and I just want to start spinning around in circles, arms spread wide and head back, the warmth of the sun on my cheeks. I close my eyes and breathe. I glance below at the golden leaves, fallen from the trees surrounding me. Dusk brings a purple horizon. The clouds are now shades of red, they reach across the indigo sky, following the sun. The squeaks of swings in a playground, as children have their last laugh of the day. Stars start to shimmer in my eyes and the atmosphere around grows colder. Night has reached out for me to join it, while it covers the earth with shadows. I can watch breathes I exhale freeze in the chilly night air. I wrap my arms over me and feel my own warmth. Its calm now and the silence of the night takes over the sounds of the day. The nature my eyes see is beautiful. I lay across my bed and sleep, in the morning the birds will wake me with their song and the sun will rise again.

THE DRIVE
I drive down this long road. It seems so sad when I'm driving home. But when I'm headed your way the grass is greener, the sky clearer. The wind in my hair brushes against the back of my ears. Though your hands maybe rough, it reminds me of your soft touch. My heart starts to pound, only a few more minutes till I'm at your door. I can picture your lips near mine. I can sense you in the air. While gripping the stearing wheel and bitting my lip, I close my eyes and imagin your body pressing against mine. Suddenly the pressure in the car is increasing. Only a few more seconds till I can have you in my arms. I'm racing now for the doornobe. As I open it, I through my bag to the ground and run through the house to his room. He can hear me coming and is moving towards the front to meet me. Together we join in a heavenly nervana of blessful embrace. Forever connected by our love. By Anastasia James
