Part IT Operative, part scholastic sponge, part loyal confidant... all wrapped up as one bizarre, comedic, passionate admirer of music, movies and all things goofy.

I'm still a fairly decent cook, my BBQ and grilling skills being something that'll make you feel like a sexy bitch. Super sexy bitch actually.

If you think that by threatening me you can get me to do what you want... Well, that's where you're right. But - and I am only saying that because I care - there's a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing.

My Interests

My kids! They are everything and will always be my everything.

My Mindi... she makes me feel worthy.

Music... metal mostly, but if it's done well, any genre can hold merit.

Movies... right now, anything that is not Speedracer or Sex in the City. IRON MAN was fantastical and the DARK KNIGHT will be splendiferous for sure. HELL BOY 2 will own too.

Life is still about the flow and how you ride the wave.

Hair Nation on Sirius is such a guilty pleasure... I'm the dork that knows every single one of those damn songs!

Band wise... current turn-ons are Porcupine Tree, Voyager and Pharaoh

Agent Steel and Annihilator always seem to strike that right chord when I need it.

Movies:

Ice cream for the brain!

On occasion, I tend to over analyze and point out the impossibilities, but that's at home and not when I'm paying $9.50... without popcorn, candy or a drink.

Movies are a fun escape. So are margaritas, but I digress.

Television:

Now that the mighty, life altering TIVO/DVR has entered my realm, I watch more than I used to.

Ace of Cakes and Drivers, Dine-ins and Dives are my Food Network favorites.

South Park is always recorded.

Before I forget... The Mighty Boosh rules all!!!

Books:

Outside of the textbooks I need to get this damn degree... Harry Potter... I've enjoyed every one of them.

Greg Bear is one of my favorite authors ever!

Darwin's Radio and Darwin's Children are awesome takes on evolutionary biology and the effects radical human change take on our culture. Most disturbing and highly recommended.

Then read Blood Music, the book that made me a Greg Bear fan.

Desperation by Stephen King is also quite disturbing. Thanks go out to my good friend Nick Van Dyk and his band Redemption for making me read this.

Heroes:

My kids... everyday they amaze me.
