About Me

I grew up in Ohio and West Virginia before moving to Virginia 9 years ago. I always knew living in that small Ohio town that I had to get out and here I am living just outside of DC. ..... I'm happily married to an awesome guy, Matt. He's my best friend. We met years ago and were friends first - the way it should be...... I'm everybody's friend and I'm the 'Dear Abby' of everyone. This is great, most of the time. Sometimes I attract needy people which is a huge turn off. I keep my friends dear to me and would do anything for them. I cherish the times with my friends - especially those filled with hysterical laughter. I LOVE to laugh. That makes the best memories..... I love to travel. Matt and I have adopted Hawaii as our second home. We married there and go back as often as we can....... I love music! Thanks to Matt, I've gotten into metal which has allowed me to learn about some pretty cool bands out there. My fav band, though, is still Bon Jovi.... has been since I was 12. The metal scene that Matt brought me into has given me a chance to make some of the most awesome friends anyone could have...... I love my dogs - Siberian Huskies. Matt and I show them and they are a lot of fun. We travel a lot with them and have meet some great people there too.I'm the one standing between the 'America' and 'Builds'. Dontcha love my hard hat?? I think it'll come in handy for housework. LOL

My fav bands right now are: Bon Jovi, Garbage, Tad Morose, Mudvayne, Conception, Firehouse, Iron Maiden, Disturbed, Pink, Nickelback, Symphorce, Jorn, Fool's Game, Circle to Circle, Hinder, Saliva, Threshold, Circus Maximus, lots of other metal bands and lots of 80's hard rock bands. I tend to listen to a lot of different stuff, even good dance music if I'm in the mood (shout out to my hun - "my milkshake is better than yours... damn right, it's better than yours". Love ya. :*) BTW, Fool's Game is Matt's new project. It's in the recording process now. John Macaluso is drumming on the album... here's his recording session with Matt in Matt's studio. Movies:

Television:

Don't watch too much. But I'm addicted to the Planet Earth Series on Discovery!!! I like Deadliest Catch on Discovery too. I also love Comedy Central's standup shows. Kevin James and Brian Regan are hilarious!!! OK, so not a big Idol fan but of course I watched the Bon Jovi week (AWESOME). I love my Jovi but Good Lord, I'm sick of Bad Name. Loved the new take on it....
