Gizzlah

Gizzlah has been in the rap game since early 1993 with the group The Kounzil Mobb which also includes Cali Pooh. After working with other artist developing ground breaking music Gizzah decided to step out on his own and create the type of music he wanted to. In 1995 Blak Blud Records was created and he brought along long time friend and artist Cali Pooh to usher in a new era in bay area music. Gizzlah calls his style life music which means that besides just telling stories of the struggles of living in the ghetto he also lyrically paints a portrait of interpersonal problems and also touching on deep dark personal stories that can test a man's purpose in life. Currently working on his solo album "The Untold Story: The Prequle" contains songs ranging from talking about relationships, personal struggles and a few party joints. Growing up in the tough streets of West Oakland, CA has give Gizzlah stark view of reality dealing with the death of loved ones and close friends when other children were playing video games and playing basketball.
