Wonder Woman is first and foremost my most favorite superheroine of all time. I first became a fan of Wonder Woman when I saw the television series Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter. Sometime after that I started reading the comicbook and collecting Wonder Woman memorabilia.

I would like to connect with other Wonder Woman fans. There are five other favorite superheroes and superheroines I like as well. If you are a fan of those superheroes and superheroines I would like to connect with you as well. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston a prominent psychologist and inventor of the Lie Detector.

Wonder Woman first appeared in December, 1941 in ALL STAR COMICS #8.

THE CHARACTER

Princess Diana was born on Paradise Island (Themyscira), an inaccessible Island hidden in space and time to Hippolyte Queen of the Amazons. Diana is the niece Queen Antiope Hippolyte's sister and cousin to Hyppolytus, son of Antiope.

At birth Diana is granted special gifts from the Greek gods and goddess

When the world is threatened by war the gods and goddess' of Olympus commands the Amazon to chose a warrior worthy of them all through the "TOURNAMENT OF THE CROWN". Diana request to enter the "TOURNAMENT OF THE CROWN". Hippolyte denies Diana's request. Against her mother's wishes, Diana secretly enters the "TOURNAMENT OF THE CROWN". After winning the "TOURNAMENT OF THE CROWN" Hippolyte request the winner to reveal her face that all my know who is the worthiest Amazon of them all. Everyone is certifiably stunned and shocked that Diana is the worthiest Amaaon of them all.

Diana journeys to man's world and become "The Greatest Superheroine of all time" WONDER WOMAN.

Wonder Woman is the first and most reconizable superheroine. Wonder Woman sets the tone for every superheroine to ever don a costume. Wonder Woman sets the standard for women in comics.
