Bernie, Ivan, Nelson, Gary, Danny = When.I.O.D… but what is When.I.O.D…!?What do we stand for??? What is the meaning/purpose of such a name??? To some of us it may be When .I .Over . Dose…?? To some, When .I. Overcome. Demons... Hell to some it may even be When. Humans. Endanger. Nature. In. Other. Dimensions… But the truth of the matter is that it means something different to each one of us. Respecting this is just one of the things that this band is really about……..individuality. When you have a Jehovahs Witness, two Agnostics and two Atheists in one band its hard to choose a common message to send out …. The one thing we can all agree on is that life is beautifully random and whatever it throws at you , you have to find what “it†is that’s going to pull you out of bed the next morning and make you want to blow through whatever obstacle that’s stopping you from getting to wherever you want to be. We were lucky enough to find music. It is our one common ground, and it’s the one thing that we all have an unconditional love for. We are 5 brothers who have a bond that is stronger than anything you can ever imagine. We come from nothing and are trying to create anything we possibly can from it. I would honestly give my life for anyone of these guys if I knew that it would somehow make their existence a happy one, but this is besides the point. What each of our individual beliefs are is irrelevant. We believe in having the right to choose your philosophy without having to be judged for having a thought that might not seem normal . So we don’t sing because honestly there are too many bands out there that spit out shit layered upon shit without ever really saying anything at all. We put our hearts, “souls†, blood, sweat, and tears into every one of our notes and we’ll give you everything that we have every time you see us play, just simply because this is what we live our lives for……Music.-Ivan
