Ars Poetria

Dancing in dreams or flying underground, why do we sound? Having become conscious of the horrific realities that mother earth carries, we feel it is our duty as human beings to say something, not as any political or authoritative figure, but more so as brothers or sisters, no worse or better than you.
Injustices such as the privatization of water in Latin America and Africa, lack of unity among the people of earth, pointless warfare initiated by nations and their respective corporate interests are all phenomena that have fueled our need to create this EP.
Not only do the lyrics of these songs reflect our beliefs but the rhythms and harmonies do as well. They are used as expressive tools to act against this world’s oppressive forces. Just as music has been used as a source of hope in the past, it has become an even more relevant form of resistance in today’s times. As the war drums continue to sound, the conscious artists of the world must make a counter-rhythm in the name of peace. This is our first attempt at finding that rhythm, and it will not be our last.
