the fall is gold

About Me

The members of Totara are an eclectic mix of musicians from around the country that somehow managed to meet up in sunny Los Angeles. As they wrote and created, they decided on the name Totara, a tree which symbolizes respect... and so the band was born. This group uses a myriad of styles and influences to create their sound; the seeds of their music. They have been seen playing at various LA venues such as The Knitting Factory, The Whisky A Go Go, The Joint, 14 Below, O'Briens Irish Pub, Room 5 Lounge, The Palms Bar, Club Good Hurt, The MBar, Ground Zero Coffeehouse, The Blue Cafe, Hogue Barmichael's, 36th street, 37th street, and Menlo street house parties...Totara released their first album, entitled Cities and Desire, in Spring 2006, which you can find on CDBaby, or Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster, and other digital music stores. Please visit our website for updates, more pics, and a brand new Forum! They are on the verge of releasing their next EP in mere moments, so definitely stay tuned... Online downloads, a revamped website, and a few epic shows are to be expected...
