In 2007, "Triple J" won the AVP event in Chicago and finished third in the Crocs Cup Standings with longtime partner Annett Davis. Johnson Jordan was selected by eventual Goddess of the Beach Elaine Youngs to be her partner in the final of the tournament.In 2004, Johnson Jordan and Davis became the U.S. team with most career tournaments played together, and in Huntington Beach 2007 they played their 100th event together, a feat which only one other team in the world had accomplished. Although she and Davis did not play in 2001 season due to pregnancy, they had their best season ever in 2002, winning two more titles plus capturing the Special Achievement Award. They both missed the 2005 season as well, but returned in 2006 to advance to nine semifinals.Johnson Jordan has finished ranked in the top 10 in season points each year she has competed on the AVP Tour. Statistically, she was third in kills on the AVP Tour in 2006 (7.17 per game) and was second in 2007 (7.49 per game).The duo teamed to earn a spot in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games where they placed fifth. They finished third for U.S. women in qualifying for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In 1999, they were the winningest USA men's or women's pro beach tandem with over $200,000 in prize earnings. They won their first six career titles over a 14-month span on four different tours.Johnson Jordan competed two seasons on the four-person circuit where she teamed with Davis, Gabrielle Reece and Stephanie Cox to lead the United States to the four-person title at the 1997 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Los Angeles. In her first-ever doubles tournament, she played with Katy Eldridge, but all events since then have been played with Davis.Played collegiate volleyball at UCLA where she started for three seasons and captained the 1994 and 1995 teams. Earned All-League and All-American honors. Graduated with a degree in Communication Studies.Her father, Rafer Johnson, won decathlon medals at both the 1956 Melbourne (Silver) and 1960 Rome (Gold) Olympic Games, and was the torchbearer at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Has a younger brother, Josh, who was a PAC-10 champion in javelin. She is married to Kevin Jordan, a former wide receiver on the UCLA football team. Their daughter, Jaylen, was born in October 2001 and their son, Kory, in June 2005.
