Hyllus was formed in Miami Florida in early 2008 by Pedro Rios(bass),Andrew Kaner(drums), and Howard Garrao(guitar,vocals). With the purpose of playing music for the love of it. But with the mentality of achieving artistic goals. Reggae music(The member's common ground) plays a fundamental part in the shaping of this trio's sound. Since their first rehearsal, the band quickly went to work and set a goal of writing 8 songs in two months, which was accomplished solidly on the natural chemistry that occurred during these original sessions. Now in the studio finishing their first album currently tittled "Funky Reggae Solid". The band will display different shades of Reggae and other styles with a predominance of mid tempo grooves.
