About Me

I own musical instruments. I have more than one drum. I write short sentences. I've tried to figure out how to make my drums work but I lost the instruction manual and don't know if I'm doing it right. My friend Danny says I make good sandwhiches. Choo-Choo! I'm still trying to "make-it". "it" refers to succeding in the business of selling aural art without selling my soul. I've given up on trying to grow my Mr. T Ceral tree, however, I've played all over the world with some of the best and worst musicians in the world. My musical education and scarring came from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. I've played and worked with an interesting mixture of people including Wynton Marsalis, Ekoostik Hookah, War, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, the Lincolln Center Jazz Orchersra, the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Columbus Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra, the Nathan Whitt Band, Yumbambe salsa Jazz, and Eric "the Fish" Paton and his taiko drummers. I also played in the mall one time when I was younger. Oh yea, I played a talent show in junior high.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Funniest Craig’s List Post EVER.

Looking to Purchase......

My first and last blog of 2007. I'm looking to buy part or all of the set from the TV show Double Dare. No, not the late 80's/early 90's children's game show hosted by Marc Summers (he later went on ...

These things only happen to me... you can't make this shit up

Seriously. Only me. I'll just cut to the chase here and skip the obligatory verbal (or written perhaps?) diarrhea. Last night I was lying on floor playing with my dogs when all of a sudden the ceil...

Why I've had to change the top friend on my page. Ugh.

I made a bet with my friend (believe me, Im using that term very loosely) Jenny and I lost. As a result, I have to write a blog about how great she is. Even Karl Rove would have a hard time spinning...

The highs and lows of being a musician

Lows:Waking up to no food in the fridge.Forcing yourself to practice, even though you don't feel like it, especially in a non-air conditioned room during a 90 degree summer day. No cell phone. The ma...

A Religious Numeric Experience

A few weeks ago I was on my way to a gig (in Waverly of all places) when I had a special moment, and not the kind that Father O'conner and I use to share on church camping trips. I was driving, well...
