The AJAGORE band was established In the end of the past century. The first CD has been titled simply „AJAGOREâ€, has crowned the first stage of our artistic work
These are the 12 songs which were inspired by folk songs and tunes from various regions of Poland. These days the band was: Sławomir Kornas, Piotr Góra, Jowita Tobaszewska, Krzysztof Paul, Maciej Kortas.
The period between 1999 and 2002 passed in accordance with cauntless concerts (who would remember how many of these took place..) and meetings on several folk festivals.
For some reasons – more or less dependent on ouselves- AJAGORE ceased artistic work.
One Winter day, year 2006 - like a phoenix from the ashes, AJAGORE re-appeared with the following members: Sławomir Kornas – bass, vocal; Michał Szczeblewski –drums; Maciej Kortas – guitar.
As a result of playing together and exchanging musical experience, a new image of the band has emerged. These days we are still referring to commonly known folk music. However, the voice of individual ambition is more sound and music desire can be heard more often.
We are working on a new project.
With the partnerschip of Irek Wojtczak (woodwind instruments) we have recorded four tracks; let them be the foretaste of what is going to happen soon.Maciej Kortas
