My head is cool and quiet...

About Me

Can't really be summed up here, can it? Well let's give it a go, then.
I'm an ordinary man living in an extraordinary world. That makes "everyday" seem to me like it would to a child; each day is an adult Christmas for me. "In a world full of surprising fireworks" sums it up quite nicely.
I smile at the strangest things, usually when the humble triumph.
I approach life and cooking with abandon.
A great curtain has fallen before my eyes that I can never again lift and I now look at the world as it is. It can be either terrifying or beautiful, this life.
Make your choice, take your pick.
I believe I'm blessed to have around me some of the best people in the world, real salt of the earth. I call them my friends.
The pepper of it all would be the woman I fall in love with someday. I've been there before, but that bird never came back after I set it free. Mind you, some of them still flit around the cage from time to time....but the door had been open all along. It never was a cage.
I despise cruel people. People who use their emotions, good looks, sexuality and drama as leverage. I can not stomach willfully stupid people.
This life is short. But what a beautiful journey. It's best shared, you know. Is your head clear, do you have the passion?
Lay back, look up and breathe; tonight is the night...
"Few men have the natural strength to honour a friend's success without envy. I well know that mirror of friendship, shadow of a shade."-Aeschylus
