About Me

CURRENT MOON lunar phases
VIDEO BROUGHT TO YOU BY PAGANS OF MYSPACE
Merry meet! As you can tell by my page, I'm a Witch, not Wiccan, but a Witch. I can't be bothered to go into the "religious" aspects of Wicca, as I'm quite happy with how I practice my Craft. Perhaps at some point, I'll explore the religious side, perhaps not; only the Gods that be know for sure. As most Witches, I'm still learning, being mentored, and networking with other like-minded individuals. Knowledge is the key to just about everything! After years of experiences starting as an older teen, I finally decided to develop my gifts and see where they take me. So far, I've been directed to crystals, gemstones, incense, and candles. Eventually, I wish to go into herbals and then medicinal magick. I've always wanted to be a healer, so it seems I'm on the right path (for me anyway).
Now for a not-so-shameful plug for my friend, Sister, and mentor Sandy at MYSTIC MOUNTAIN GIFTS , which is a WONDERFUL shop for all your witchy needs. If she doesn't have it in her shop, she'll search high and low for you so you can have what you need. Sandy is the owner/operator of Mystic Mountain Gifts and is a lifelong Witch. Her shop offers a variety of different classes from self-hypnosis to helping one learn to tap into their gifts. Her shop also has psychic readings available, no appointment necessary. Even if you don't live in our area or state, she does ship to pretty much everywhere and truly will do what she can to help you however she can, whether it's a specific item you can't find to just chatting. Feel free to check her site out by clicking the link at the beginning of this paragraph. Her site is constantly being updated; however, if you can't find what you need while browsing through her site, you can just give her a call and leave the rest to Sandy! ~Brightest Blessings~ )O(
I'm also the proud mother of two wonderful boys with Asperger's Syndrome. If you've stumbled upon my humble page due to that, I really hope to hear from you! Being the mother to two Aspies (and also the wife of one!), I just know I have what it takes to help you over your fear of thinking you're the only one, nobody understands, and sometimes the profound sadness that comes with that diagnosis. Since my boys were diagnosed close to five years ago, I was very active in their education and (even without knowing it at the time) kind of "piloting" a program in the elementary school for my kids, and others like them. I'm soon to begin working with our ISD to also pilot another program for the upper grades. I feel very proud, honored, and priviliged to have been chosen to be the one to take on this huge responsibility and, with my living with this all day, every day, I know I can really help the district address the needs of these often misunderstood children. The more active a parent you are of a "special needs" child, the more "waves" you can create and perhaps YOU can even help educate your own school district about the needs of your child(ren). As I can literally talk about Asperger's for hours, if you really need somebody to talk to or a shoulder to lean on, chances are good I've been there and done that, and I do urge you to contact me. I know I can be of help to you. Also, if you so wish, just click HERE and visit my site. It's still a site in progress but still has quite a bit of information. As I'll be working with the ISD soon, my ultimate goal is to have my site linked via the ISD's site to help other parents out there as well.

When you feel like crying, call me. I don't promise that I will make you laugh, but I can cry with you.If one day you want to run away, don't be afraid to call me. I don't promise to ask you to stop, but I can run with you.If one day you dont want to listen to anyone call me. I promise to be there for you but also promise to remain quiet. But one day if you call and there is no answer, come fast to see me Perhaps I need YOU.

Music, music, and music (did I mention music?), concerts, Asperger's Syndrome and autism awareness, the Craft, martial arts, antiquing, reading, messing around on the computer, computer games, especially Pogo.com, camping (in our trailer of course; do you think I'd sleep in a tent with a sleeping bag and NO bathroom, TV, cable, bed, or kitchen?! LOL) the lake (pick one, we live in Michigan LOL), the solitude and tranquility that being alone with nature provides, the moon, thunderstorms, magick, watching bonfires dance in the night and getting lost in the soul of the fire, cemeteries (the older, the better), football, and hockey (Wings only, TYVM),

I do not intend for this to sound rude; however, I will not accept teens to my friends list. The teens on my list are family and/or friends of the family. While I can understand being interested in the Craft and/or Wicca, a teen of 14 or so will NOT be added for any reason (unless I personally know you or you're friends of my nieces and nephew). In my humble opinion, I believe you're too young to fully understand the rules, dedication, and seriousness of your intent. This is not a game, nor a passing fad. For my site, it's 18 and older, please. Thank you very much.

Also, for men wishing to add me to their friends list: Please make sure we have SOMETHING in common. I really don't appreciate getting requests, and then checking a profile that's full of bondage pictures and naked women. S&M men need not bother, as I'm NOT interested! Furthermore, if any men send a friend request and their profile is set to private, I won't add you unless you message me as to why you want me to add you. I just did that, actually, only to find out the guy had NOTHING in common with me at all. So to the guy I just deleted, sorry. I don't have time to check out profiles, only to find out we have nothing in common. I do have things to do!

MOST IMPORTANT: As of October 25, I will NO longer even consider adding you as a friend if your profile is set to private. If you wish to have me add you and your profile IS set to private, please send me a message so I know a little about you. Too many viruses are being spread that way. Thank you for your understanding.

I'd like to meet:

Anybody of like mind and path, Johnny Rzeznik (and the rest of the Goo Goo Dolls), James Hetfield (and the rest of Metallica), Ty Pennington, Criss Angel, Steve Perry (the only TRUE voice of Journey), Kid Rock, Robin Williams, Colin Firth, Jennifer Saunders....

Goo Goo Dolls (what I wouldn't give for a night with Johnny!), Greenday, Matchbox 20, Bon Jovi, Staind (depressing lyrics but appropriate for my life), 3 Doors Down, Train (Calling All Angels "speaks" to me), Metallica, Ozzy/Sabbath (What can one say about Ozzy? lol), Motley Crue, Queensryche, Elton John, Skid Row, Aerosmith (Seasons of Wither especially), Kid Rock (sorry fellow Michiganders, but I can't STAND Eminem), Sarah McLaughlin, Stevie Nicks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Nickleback....I'm sure there's more....

Movies:

The Breakfast Club (gotta LOVE John Bender), all HP movies, all LOTR, Harrison Ford -all of them - especially all Indiana Jones and Regarding Henry, Ferris Bueller's Day Off (LOLOL), Philadelphia, Forrest Gump (the character is an Aspie, did ya know?), The Sixth Sense, Willow, Bridget Jones' Diary (1 and 2), all the Die Hard movies, Terminator (1 and 2), Jurassic Park (1 and 2 only), Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, Jane Eyre (the old one with Orsen Wells), Wuthering Heights (with Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon), and....more....

Television:

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, SWEETIE DAHLING! LMAO

British sitcoms (especially AbFab and The Young Ones), Whose Line Is It Anyway (Brit and American versions), Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Criss Angel's Mindfreak, House, Bones, sports (football and hockey), paranormal (reality/documentary only), anything to do with tornadoes and weather (Storm Stories)and forensics department (Court TV) - pretty much reality/documentary type shows (except stupid shit like Survivor, American Idol, etc.), Discovery Channel, A&E for GREAT movies, documentaries, and real-life medical shows (Discovery Channel Heath). Unfortunately, regular TV sucks these days.

Books:

Anything on Asperger's I can get my hands on, Witchcraft (Scott Cunningham, Silver Ravenwolf, etc.), horror (Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon, John Saul etc.), James Patterson, and The Harry Potter series. Consider it odd, but I also have enjoyed the entire Goosebumps series, thanks to my boys!

Heroes:

Ryan (Green belt) and Matthew (Orange belt) for dealing with their autism in an amazing manner. They are my inspiration, my life, and my entire world.
