24 Hour Taco Shop is Pennsylvania’s premier ska band. They’ve played in 6 battle of the bands, 5 of them were won, one was not, and they came in 2nd place out of 70 bands. They’ve also earned the rights to play with The Toasters, I Voted For Kodos, Badfish-Sublime Tribute, Plunket, and more. They’ve played around 50 shows while maintining jobs and high school. Founded in 2004 by members Justin, Jordan, and Ralph, they’ve progressed and become what they are today; a ska band that has no limits on their sound. They feature fast upbeat ska, slowed down reggae, modern rock breakdowns, swing, punk, double bass, as well as many others. As of January 2008, they have only released one album, which was recorded back at the end of 2005/beginning of 2006 when they were only in 8th/9th grade. They plan on recording a new EP @ Mr. Smalls this March, 2008. They are also looking to tour the east coast for a week this summer. Look for them at a show near you!
They have shared the stage with locals CJ’s Turtle, ONC, The Zou, Better Ending, No Words Escape, None Too Many, A Poetic Tragedy, Sean Porto, Ashley Hall, Lucas Sloppy’s Flying Organ, When I Say Surrender, Asunder, Left is Law, Pete Killed Pete, Take Sides, Texas Pete and the Revolutions, Rayah, Kid Durango, The Drawback, The Lemmiwinks, A1 Star, Almost Aces, Mark This Day, Cellfish, Go Trigger Go, Eulogy of Heroes, Ameris, Hollywood Injection, Unspeakable Horrors, Dreams of Darkness, By His Blood, The Innocent, Masters of the Universe, Distorted Penguins, Children of October, Those Poor Devils, Go Hyatus, The Renovation, and many more!
