About Me

HEY FUCKOS!! If you don't send a message first, and I don't know you, I WILL NOT ADD YOU!! Also, if your introductory message doesn't use proper style and syntax, IN THE TRASH IT GOES!!! GET IT, YOU ILLITERATE MONGRELS!?!?? Aren't you fuckers lucky that I'm my own favorite topic?!? I'm a vagabond and a fool, but the most terminally interesting one you've met in a while. I'm off to Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska for the summer, after a brief tenure on Cape Cod (Falmouth, this time), via my hometown of Toledo, via Chicago, from New Orleans (S.W.Y.D., Motherfuckers!), and before that, was a resident of scenic Provincetown, Mass. (viva la KOOK!). I'm an actor, burlesque dancer, writer, performance artist, activist, costume designer, plush-sized model, bartender, occasional fetish goddess, old-school vampirate, and all-around lowbrow character who will do JUST ABOUT anything for a buck...or a laugh! Beyond such trivialities, I'm a radical and revolutionary pied piper with wisdom beyond my years, though the years I have left will bring me more such wisdom each day, with all good karma. Teach me? Learn with me? Walk with me? Burn this bitch down with me??? Amber Dawn --

My Interests

Writing, singing, dancing, politicizing, sewing, fine dining, sharpening my knives, hiking, swimming, drinking, smoking, revolutionizing, playing in public fountains, reading, f**king with others' realities, and plain old f**king.
Drink Up, Me Hearties! Yo Ho! R.I.P., Gonzo. You knew. You shared. You bastard.

I'd like to meet:

Christopher Guest, Lorne Michaels, John Stewart, Al Franken, Norman Mailer, Legs McNeil, Iggy Pop, Jim Jarmusch, David Sedaris, Chuck Palahniuk, Tempest Storm, Dixie Evans, Patti Smith, Steven Colbert, and Malcolm McClaren, but only to give him a wedgie. My inner journalist would say, "Anyone who'll give me an interview," but the truth of the matter is that most people bore me. I dream of this man often, in my sleep and in my waking hours. He is brilliance; he is sexy, in a very cerebral way; he is the future! Colbert Nation, yo!!!And, if you want to be my friend, a letter of introduction is required. What ever happened to manners?

Which Tarot Card Are You?
You are the Fool card. The Fool fearlessly begins the journey into the unknown. To do this, he does not regard the world he knows as firm and fixed. He has a seemingly reckless disregard for obstacles. In the Ryder-Waite deck, he is seen stepping off a cliff with his gaze on the sky, and a rainbow is there to catch him. In order to explore and expand, one must disregard convention and conformity. Those in the throes of convention look at the unconventional, non-conformist personality and think What a fool. They lack the point of view to understand The Fool's actions. But The Fool has roots in tradition as one who is closest to the spirit world. In many tribal cultures, those born with strange and unusual character traits were held in awe. Shamans were people who could see visions and go on journeys that we now label hallucinations and schizophrenia. Those with physical differences had experience and knowledge that the average person could not understand. The Fool is God. The number of the card is zero, which when drawn is a perfect circle. This circle represents both emptiness and infinity. The Fool is not shackled by mountains and valleys or by his physical body. He does not accept the appearance of cliff and air as being distinct or real. Image from: Mary DeLave http://www.marydelave.com/
