HOW YOU CAN HELP the STARKE COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY
After over 15 years of aiding more than 30,000 lost, neglected, or homeless animals, we desperately need some remodeling and repairs. The projected cost for these projects is just under $20,000. If you can not help monetarily, perhaps you can help by donating building supplies or labor. (All donations are tax deductible.) We, also, have several ongoing fund-raisers in which you may wish to participate. We are extremely grateful for any help.
Some ways that you can assist us in providing the animals with a chance to get back home or a chance to find a loving, responsible guardian:
-BECOME A MEMBER-
Would you like to help us out with a donation from THE FEED BARN in North Judson, but you aren’t sure what we need? You can now donate directly into an account set up for the Starke County Humane Society. Your donation will be available, when we need to purchase items for the shelter. This account insures that your donation will not only be greatly appreciated, but also, that it will provide something we need at the shelter.
Donate ALUMINUM CANS - Drop off your rinsed aluminum cans at the shelter.
Buy a collector’s stamp. A Commemorative Stamp cancellation of the Spay/Neuter stamps was held on October 5, 2004. A limited amount of these canceled stamps in special folders are still available at the Starke County Humane Society for $2.00 each. These would be great gifts for animal lovers and stamp collectors alike. All of the profits are used to keep our shelter operating.
SPAY and/or NEUTER ALL PETS.
