The title »The Piano Music« has a double meaning. Of course it means music for piano, but it also means music that is piano both in the sense of dynamics and character - soft, quiet, gentle. Pieces such as »Sunset«, »Prière« and »Calm Ocean« falls into that category, though other works are less "piano"...
Most of the music found here is of a romantic style and character, however Frederik Magle composes music in many other styles and genre as well including jazz, rock, "avant garde classical" and experimental music.
