About Me

sometimes I go by the name Set-the-Marq or just Set, but at the moment, Labyrinth is my current name. Orgullosamente Colombiano y Mexicano pa que sepan!(im very proud of my heritage so if you dont like it "vete pal carajo!").I'm part of two projects, Illosophy (myself and Akira) and Today's News (YDMC, Solomon, Legend, Ghost, Madman, AM1, and myself). Look out for us. Started writing rhymes in early high school. Some of my songs are not meant for the faint of heart. I write/rhyme what I see, feel, hear, and think. I make songs about my life, race and discrimination, poverty, the city, politics, government, social issues, battle rhymes, my neighborhood, relationships, my grandma, religion, the cute girl in my class, the cute girl at work, the cute girl at the Taqueria, love, hate, and whatever else I might cross paths with when I decide to write a song. As you can see, my mind is a maze- a labyrinth of sorts. I DONT do "bitches, jewelry, hos, cash, guns, drugs" rap; I leave that to the ignorant wanna-be hip hop heads that need to pick up a book and educate themselves to free themselves.Born and raised in the city of San Francisco, the city that shaped me and molded my brain and voice. give me a beat, a pen, and a notebook and see what I cook up. mi primita dancing to Afro-Colombian music
