About Me

That year Track and Field News ranked USC's women's class No. 3 in the nation. This class included Char Foster, Tacita Bass and SEC champions Demetria Washington, ELLAKISHA WILLIAMSON, Miki and Me'Lisa Barber. She started off her collegiate athletic career at the University of Albany and transferred to the University of South Carolina. She holds the 100m hurdle record at the University of Albany; and has held 5 school records, a national championship and three SEC titles while at USC. In 2000, The University of South Carolina honored Ellakisha as the best “Female Student/Athlete of the Year”. She was one of the eight finalists at the 2000 Olympic trials in the 100m hurdles, missing the Olympic team by only 2/10 of a second. She went on to travel nationally and internationally competing for the U.S./Nike as the 100m hurdle Olympic alternate. She was a finalist in the 2001 National Championship, in which she qualified to compete at the World University Games in Beijing, China. Ellakisha was ranked on the USATF top mark list for 3yrs and has been featured in the media numerous time. She has assisted other athletes and non-athletes in achieving their various fitness goals. She is licensed through AMFPT, and has been a trainer at large gyms and personal training studios. She is certified in child/infant/adult CPR, First Aid, and AED. Ellakisha started Athlete Alliance, Inc. because she personally understands what it means to be an aspiring athlete, collegiate athlete and professional athlete; and the variables that can make or break an athlete’s accomplishment.Ambitious athletic women driven for success. Off the track and on the track, she constantly set goals, and achieve them. She doesn't believe in excuses or complacency. Come aboard if you are on the same journey!
