Jeffrey Luna Melendez. Born in NYC, Raised in South Florida(HOLLYWOOD), now live in South Beach. Music & entertainment has been a passion of mine from a very young age and is just in my Blood! I'm Cuban and Puerto Rican with a touch Arabic, I started writing songs as an outlet when my Abuelita Soledad Past on. She was my world! I am fluent in English Y Espanol y escribo y canto en los dos! Always took the safe route usin my Brain and Hands. Yeah i am one of those Jack of all trades. Funny thing is, I am pretty good at most anything I put my mind to. I don't ever give up and always strive for perfection. Not for anyone but myself! Be true to who and what you are. You'd only be lying to yourself.
FEAR is something we make up in our minds but can overcome it just the same! This is my story and I am going to be the author. Every day is a blessing from God, Ala, Budda or whatever you want to call The Devine that you believe in. We are all the same in this life as we know it, we are all on vacation here so enjoy the ride, but live wisely, love whole heartedly, Honor what's Right!
I can say that I have Felt. I can say that I have loved. I can say that I've lost. I can say that I've hurt. I can say that I've won. I can say that I've let go. I can say that I've cried. I can say that I have truly lived!!!!!!
I am what I am, I say what's on my mind, I write what I feel, I live llike there's no tomorrow and love as if it will never end. I'm Passionate in everything I do! ! ! ! !
I love to sing and have been Blessed to be able to do so. I love to be able to make someone feel, remember, smile, laugh, cry, tingle inside ;o). I write and sing only to be listened to....... Heard..... why do it otherwise? If not it's just a thought! To reach into the depths of a soul and make a lasting impression is what I desire most in my music.
I been at it for a minute and have come a long way from when I first started. There have been many obstacles, many set backs, many dissapointments. Only the stepping stone to what will be a Victory. I will never loose Faith, I will Never Give up, I will Never let go of what is my DREAM, my DESTINY. Nothing in my way but what I allow to be!
I have studied with the Finest at the U Baby! That's right, the University of Miami, .. ..1 for Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performace amongst other things. Proud to be a Cane an honored to have learned from some of the best this world has to offer. Sang with some of the best as well. Anyone who says they've done it on their own is full of it! My God, My Family, My Friends, My Teacher's.... I Thank You! I am who I am through their eyes. Through Your Eyes! How will you be seen?
