I am here for Friends

About Me

I work in a dusty, groovy record store in an arcade in Claremont. It's truly boss. If it's Peruvian Psychedelia or wasted folkies you're after, let me know! I can sort you out...I also play the guitar and the organ in The Burton Cool Suit with my best friends; Ads, Chad and Adrian. We just put out our second long player titled: YOU CAN'T FIGHT CITY HALL. Our good friend and comrade Laurie Sinagra made it all possible with his time, patience & generosity. It's really really good.

My Interests

Hangin' out and gettin' on with it.

I'd like to meet:

Jeff Lynne or Todd Rundgren. And the guy who puts together those late night Time-life Soft-Rock television ads. I'd love to have that job.

Music:

Short, sharp, catchy tunes. Preferably on or around the 3 minute mark. Any longer than that and you're just wasting my time. I like to find good things in bad songs. In other words, I've been through the desert on a horse with no name. And I'm not ashamed of it.

Movies:

SPINAL TAP and The Rutles. Anchorman. Rushmore. Mighty Wind. Best In Show. Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Things i can relate to

Television:

Conan O'Brien. That 70's Show (seasons 1-4). My Name Is Earl, 80's sit-coms. Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Books:

There's really only one. "Revolution In The Head", by Ian MacDonald.

Heroes:

Max Weinberg & The Max Weinberg Seven
