I am here for Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

Well, at least most of the time. I love my family, my friends and my friends that are family and my family that are friends. I apparently like to categorize everyone that is in my life. I think that if everyone just calmed down a bit, took less for granted in their lives and maybe smiled a bit more, I wouldn't have to deal with so much crap from the world. I dance, often uncontrollably, with or without the aid of alcohol. I have a penchant for rambling, and often talk as if I know something about everything, when in fact I know everything about everything. Just ask me.Oh, and I tend to go through most days like this little guy...

My Interests

Books, movies, sports, my family, my friends and the idea of a full nights rest.

I'd like to meet:

Who the hell knows. Someone that interests me, someone that is interested in me. Someone that revels in the things that make me who I am. Someone who enjoys everything about life. Someone willing and able to make me a part of their life. Someone who wants me in their life, not someone that needs me to fix their life. And of course... DR. TRAN!

Richard makes up new words.

I fear that I am becoming, have already become, or have always been, an intellectually elitist snob. I seem to have only enough tolerance for the idiocy that seems to cross my plate...

My feet are killing me!

My legs hurt like a bitch. Actually, ache may be a better word, though my feet are really killing me. The reason that my feet hurt is that I stood at the reading and signing for Chuck Palahniuk's new ...

Just a subtraction problem

At 2:30 in the morning, there is no sound. I mean when I got out of my car after getting home from work and watching Grindhouse (GO SEE IT NOW), I was struck by how eerily quiet it is at 2:30. I stood...

Bouncing in the dawn's light

The best days have to be the days to come. I love the days that I have been given, regardless of what the day brought. And I look forward to the next day, regardless of what it might bring. The promis...

School Years

It's almost like I am just along for the ride, as if the goal of my time spent in class is assured, a foregone conclusion, and I just have to be here physically. But that isn't quite it either. I supp...

Not Just Another Sunday

The power of shared experiences is amazing. There is an energy to these events that imprints them as very different from our normal day-to-day events. People always remember where they were when major...

Walking the walk

You don't know where I've been Lou!

So I just finished watching Fight Club for what has to be more than the hundredth time, and it does not feel old at all. In fact I saw things this time that I had not seen before. For example, Tyler D...
