... and I acted accordingly.

About Me

I'm a total introvert, probably to a fault. I'm a good person who's done a lot of questionable things. (Being good can get so boring!) No regrets though - the shining star before you was shaped as much by every success as by every poor choice, misdeed, and all-out fuck up. I am still here in sunny (read: hot as hell!) Riverside. I will be transferring to a university in the fall, but all the acceptances aren't in, so I am not sure where I'll be come September. Until then, all I can do to keep the anxiety at a manageable level is focus on school, David, my adoring kitties, and my great new job. I just started working part-time as an after-school tutor at a local elementary school. These kids are so inspiring, and the work is the most meaningful and rewarding thing I have ever done. I still attend college full time and do what I must to keep that glistening perfection of a 4.0 grade point average. The support of my beautiful mother, my hysterical step-dad, and my precious Gubbie have been and continue to be invaluable on my long road to personal and educational fulfillment. I have BIG plans, but one can never know exactly what's in store. For now, I love my mom, my man, my cats, and my city life - I think this makes me a pretty lucky girl. // I LOVE: an impressive vocabulary; Gubbie cologne; a feeling of accomplishment; laughing 'til my tummy hurts; a challenge; cuddling; TaeBo; Four-Point-Oh; platonic relationships; chocolate chip cookies (HOT out of the oven); the city of Portland; inside jokes; INDIAN FOOD; instant gratification; cheesecake; waking up beside David; clean socks and big hair.
