Enoying the married life...yeah, that part especially

About Me

Six months after the biggest change in my life I realized that I should probably update this section. Maria and I got married on January 7th. Married life is great and Maria has turned out to be a better wife than I could have imagined in every way. I don't know if she can say the same about me but I'm working on it. In May I moved back into my former position as Internet Sales Consultant for Audi and BMW. That leads me into the real me. If cars and motorcycles were little boys, Id be Michael Jackson. I am obsessed and that is all I do with my life. I buy, sell, drive, ride, watch, and read about anything with a motor. I have posters and magazines and die-cast models all over my room. I just got a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe and still ride my trusty 2005 Yamaha R6. I have yet to read about anyone elses vehicles in their About Me section but that is embarrassingly a defining component of my life. However, I wake up and get paid very well to do something I love which is a rare opportunity for most people. I dont have any exciting stories, crazy adventures, or radical political views but I lead a fulfilling yet rather ordinary life.

My Interests

Cars, Motorcycles, Racing, Driving, Riding. Pretty much anything that involves a motor I can get into. Except Nascar - that is just stupid.

I'd like to meet:

Old Friends. I guess that isn't meeting though, is it?

Music:

Same as everybody else. No cool undergound or indie bands. Just the usual alternative, rock, punk.

Movies:

I am quite the movie buff these days. Among the top are American History X, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, and Sling Blade. Actors: Edward Norton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Gosling. Director: Michael Mann is the man! I have a penchant for heist, drug, and anti-semitic movies for some reason. I am a Netflicker and watch way too many movies.

Television:

Since I got a nice TV I now watch too much. Maria has her shows, Dancing with the Stars and America's Next Top Model, which means I watch those too (I finally have an excuse!) For me it is mostly South Park, Family Guy, Sealab 2021, and Lost. The only channels I watch regularly are Comedy Central and Speed. So lots of Formula One, MotoGP, Chappelle, and The Daily Show.

Books:

I am no longer the avid reader I once was. My favorite author is still Roald Dahl. I read car and bike mags mainly, I have 10 years of Road and Track in my room and another 30 back home. I know...pretty lame.

Heroes:

Jay Leno, the ambassador to the masses for car geeks.
