About Me

Graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University, 2003. I work for a Guitar company as a Software Developer. I spend my free time playing guitar (mostly U2), listening to music (again, mostly U2, although contrary to popular belief I do listen to other stuff), running and staying in shape, staying up on the goings on in the world via blogs, thinking about the big issues in life / politics, spending time with friends and roommates...
U2 - Bad / All I Want Is You - Santiago, Chile, 1998
You Are the Investigator
5You're independent - and a logical analytical thinker. You love learning and ideas... and know things no one else does.Bored by small talk, you refuse to participate in boring conversations. You are open minded. A visionary. You understand the world and may change it. What number are you?
Your Personality Is
Rational (NT)
You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas.
You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy!
Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people.
In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally.
You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought.
Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals.
In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent.
At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia.
With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well.
As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly.
On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. The Three Question Personality Test
Pretty dead on eh?

Without the Blues, what would there be?

I had the pleasure of re-finding Jazz 88.3fm's Blues show on Saturday nights from 9p-2a.  I use to listen to it, but haven't in a long time.  Somewhat serendipitous because when I happened t...

US vs Mexico : 2-0 US

Just beat Mexico 2-0.  I was amazed to learn we've kept them scoreless on American turf for the last 8 games (since 2000).  Amazing game.  I was standing up in front of the TV for the l...

Bad Days

I'm having a bad day.  On this bad day, I started thinking about why is it that things go wrong more on bad days than on normal days.  Part of it I suppose is that you are more susceptable t...

I'd seen this awhile ago but I was listening to Queen and thought I'd post it in a blog so people could enjoy it. It doesn't get more "Spinal Tap" then this:   Brian May playing "God Save the Qu...

The Power of the Internet
