people, more people, little people, big people, average people, people who laugh, people who cry(but not too much), lacrosse, hockey, hiking, my ranch, my dog, my family, making movies, watching movies, watching people make movies, watching people fall down, awkward moments, laughing, crying during "The Rainbow Connection" at the beginning of The Muppet Movie, being embarrassed over having cried, getting over being embarrassed, moving on to new embarrassing moments, lying about having cried.
I would love to meet the big noodle upstairs...and maybe Steve Zissou.
ANYTHING THAT MAKES ME WANT TO LIVE FOREVER...YOU KNOW, LIKE DONNIE OSMOND SINGING FISHERMANS BLUES...I DON'T THINK HE HAS EVER DONE THAT ONE, BUT, CAN YOU IMAGINE IF HE DID? DOES HE STILL MAKE RECORDS? I THINK THE LAST THING HE HAD OUT WAS ACTUALLY ON A RECORD. ANYWAY, ENOUGH ABOUT DONNIE. OR IS THERE EVER ENOUGH? But seriously, I really like good music.
It is quite impossible to ever have a favorite. I have many. There are many that only offer favorite moments. Too many. STATION AGENT, ME YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW, CITY OF LOST CHILDREN, THE ZERO EFFECT, NEVER CRY WOLF, DARK CRYSTAL, AMELIE, EVERYTHING THAT WES ANDERSON HAS DONE, THE HOURS, THE INCREDIBLES, TO LIVE, THUMBSUCKER, DONNIE DARKO,THE PRINCESS AND THE WARRIOR, TIME BANDITS, WAITING FOR GUFFMAN, OFFICE SPACE, MAN OF LAMANCHA, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE, POPEYE, ONCE, AND MANY MORE. IT WOULD ACTUALLY BE EASIER TO LIST THE MOVIES THAT I DON'T LIKE...even though listing them would only bring them into the lime-light again...a place they should never have seen in the first place....I want to list them, but then someone skimming what I've written here might think that I actually like the movie...so I shant.
TELEVISION IS KILLING AMERICA...WELL, THE CULTURE PART OF IT ANYWAY BUT, IF I HAD TO CHOOSE: ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, HOME MOVIES, FAMILY GUY, THE OFFICE (BOTH ENGLISH AND AMERICAN- PREF. ENGLISH) DEADWOOD- BUT THATS NOT T.V. REALLY, THE VENTURE BROTHERS, FREAKS AND GEEKS, FFLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS, AND THE CHRISTOPHER LOWELL SHOW...WAIT, YEAH O.K. HE CAN STAY, REMEMBER BOB ROSS THE PAINTER GUY WITH AN AFRO? I USED TO FALL ASLEEP WATCHING THAT GUY. WELL, NOW CHRISTOPHER LOWELL HAS TAKEN OVER THAT SPOT. OR RATHER HE DID WHEN I HAD T.V. AS IT HAPPENS I HAVEN'T HAD T.V. FOR ALMOST THREE YEARS. I'M SORT OF BOYCOTTING THE BOOB TUBE. I SURE DO MISS THAT SAUCY, BEARDY MAN.
BLADERUNNER, ENDERS GAME, TIK TOK, CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES, ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, THE FOUNTAINHEAD, OF MICE AND MEN, BURN THIS (PLAY), MAN OF LAMANCHA (PLAY), THE DARK TOWER- NOT SO MUCH AT THE LAST 3, THE FIRST TWO BOOKS IN ANNE RICE'S VAMPIRE CHRONICLES(THE ONES THAT FOLLOWED WERE BOLLOCKS), HARRY POTTER, LORD OF THE RINGS(THE FIRST TWO), another book, and maybe one more.
ME MA, GARRISON KEILOR, WES ANDERSON, INDIANA JONES (before this last shameful installment, or the two after the first), BRICKTOP (from Snatch), AL SWEARENGEN (if only he'd kicked Bullocks' ass), ME MA, EDDIE IZZARD, ME MA AGAIN, SOME GUY WHO PLAYED PUFF THE MAGIC DRAGON TO ME AND MY LADY (at the time) ON HIS FLUTE HE MADE FROM A PIECE OF METAL FROM A SHOPPING CART WHILST WE WALKED ALONG THE BOARDWALK THE SUMMER I WAS A CAMP COUNCELOR UP IN THE REDWOODS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. WAS THAT A RUN ON SENTENCE? ANYWAY, HIM TOO.
