It all started in August 1999, were these four youngsters from a small town in the deep forests of Sweden, decided to form a rockabilly band, which it's name was gonna be 'the Moonstompers'. They started up as a coverband, but as the time went by, they started to make songs of their own and nowadays the songs that they play are mostly selfpenned.
In 2003 they released their first longplayer called "Brand new beat" and they also have appeared on several compilation records.
2006 their 2nd album "High Speed Daddy-O" got realesed on the swedish label ENVIKEN RECORDS, and their garage cut of Claudette is being played all over the world! And in 2007 the recent cd is selling quite good and in July, the rhythmguitarist and singer, Tommy Berg decided to leave the band, so from now on when you see the Moonstompers they will be performing as a trio.
