About Me

i'm a guy with a beard and an addiction to t-shirts, bass guitars, speakers and bicycles. i will shave on request if you ask nicely, but it will grow back in a matter of minutes. i work in a shop, which sells things. that's really all i want to say about that. i want to find an outlet for my frustrated musical urges (which are of an epic and pretentious nature,)so i'd like to find a drummer and a couple of guitar/keyboard players. if you like post rock, death metal or anything in between, live in nottingham and can play an instrument well i'd love to hear from you. if you click on the glove of love you'll see some photos i took.

My Interests

bass, music, my hi-fi, reading, cooking, mountain bikes and new improved BMX(!), walking in the country, goth girls, drinking italian wine by the bucket, having hangovers.

I'd like to meet:

the future Mrs Wood (think i'm onto something there tho) and/or people interested in making epic instrumental noises with me...

Music:

a bastard mix between heavy metal, mathrock and electronica.

Movies:

um, i'm easy as long as it's not hollywood crap...

Television:

i don't actually have a TV aerial at the moment, which is making me listen to more music and read more, which i think can only be a good thing.

Books:

william gibson, neil gaiman, robert rankin, gormenghast, whatever as long as it has words...

Heroes:

squarepusher, victor wooten, flea, cliff burton, gene simmons, bootsy collins, my dad (RIP); No he wasn't a bass player.
