About Me

Mr Kipling's exceedingly good LEMon drizzle cake can have many slices, depending on how you decide to divide it, you could have a rather large portion for one, an equal number of portions with each slice as identical to the other, or a number of oddly mishaped allocations. I'd describe myself as the latter as there are many things that make moi. Even though they say you are shaped by your surroundings i believe this to only partly be true. Apparently home is where the heart but im no conservative and there is this planet called 'uni' which is truly out of this world. Im not very articulate but if i had a LEMon drizzle cake the slices would be labelled as such: music (the food of love yuno!), books, films, documentaries, friends, love, friends (some of the most amazing people in the word i tell thee), happy time, thinking time, family, using glue and tape, planning things in my head - not putting them down on paper, the bahai faith, living life to the pepsi max, bubbles, lions, learning. mmmmm cake. However, below are some memorable quotations about myself which i have included if you did not dig the cake analogy: "mel smells", "if you could sing... you would be amazing", "that was quite possibly the weirdest thing i have ever seen", "why do you do that", "how do i put this?... your special".big hug, big bug, small kiss, big kiss, small kiss, small hug A very homemade video just not made at home (and yes, i was taking this seriously and yes, we are both very good friends of the strokes):

My Interests

I like the odd debate, but please don't start an arguement with me, as i don't know enough about the world to argue back. However, i am interested in your opinion, just give me a minute to think about it, or ill let my secutary get back to you. I also love live music, why hire a dj?! though recently this strange desease called 'scensterhood' has taken over most venues. im proud to say that i do not own a pair of skinny jeans, mainly beause they have been tailored for skinny people, but also because a gig is for enjoying the music. Not to sit at the bar in skinny jeans, big belt, sunglasses even though yur indoors, vintage *cough* topshop *cough* top whilst yur stripey tshirt boyfriend gets you drunk in hope that he will "get some" before hometime. Id also quite like to see the anatomy of a bat.

I'd like to meet:

* Hot dead poets - John Keats, Lord Byron, Oscar Wilde...
* People of the past and future (transported in either a phonebox or deloren).
* People with good values and such.
* Paul Bettany - the only man who pull orf sexy killing monk, albino style sucessfully.

Music:

I used to think that there was only one genre of music, and it was so amazing that anyone who disagreed with me was, quite frankly a ganstar. But alas, this is not true and i dont really care who its by anymore as long as it stirs the following emotions: *happy and sad at the same time* *remember awesome times* *feel like its autumn* *want to sing along* *feel goosepimply* *jump around* *get hypered* *be robotic* *holidayic* *immature*these include: the liberrtines, sigur ros, death cab for cutie, micheal nyman, blink 182, yeah yeah yeahs, belle and sebastian, weezer, missy elliot, the shins, the cure, idlewild, james brown, radiohead, art brut- top of the pops! jamie T - top of the pops! regina spektor- top of the pops! minus the bear, many bands beginning with 'the': strokes, hives, vines, smiths etc. breakbeats and mr scruff. commercial drum et bass like pendulum. rap people make me wanna disco like my life depends on it. stanley guggenheim (without him i would not be here)... and bootlegs, the best one ive ever herd: missy elliot vs. the cure. enuff said.

Movies:

I'd be a rubbish film critic because i cant look at things objectively, if keira knightly gets another film credit i will consider an act of violence in the drawing room with the lead pipe. Though if stars jude law, ill love it, blinded by the fact that he cant reallt act. Rant over, i really enjoy watching the following films for one reason or another: DROP DEAD FRED, momento, stand by me, good bye lenin, aladin, ELF, space jam, GATTACA, hook, spellbound ,EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, BACK TO THE FUTURE, forest gump, garden state, beetlejuice, BIG

Television:

daytime tv inspires me to get a job... but what is a day without a hearty comedy. Recently Blackadder and it seems comedy has spiralled downhill ever since with the exception of spongebob and frank spencer. I am a fan of programmes on animals. most things on ch4. quite a few bbc investments. WHY IS THERE A CHANNEL 5? fifth gear is a blatent rip orf!

Books:

"I've never been there... but I read about it... in a book"

Heroes:

genuine nice people
