Broadband

It's not fun until your ears are bleeding.

About Me

Broadband, Brooklyn's powerhouse progressive post-punk trio disguise nerdy time signatures and technical fussiness behind a wall of punk rawness, bubblegum-metal choruses, and feral, disturbingly loud live shows. For fans of Battles, Coheed, Oxes, Captain Beefeart, riot grrl, and Fugazi. Broadband are currently recording their second album at New York City's public radio station, WNYC, with recording engineer Rob Christiansen (Fulton Lights/Eggs/Stick Insect). Release: June 2007.
Northest In-Tune
"Their music is crafted to keep the listener guessing. There are no tired progressions or overused solos, just raw aggression- that could keep anybody’s feet moving and ears listening." --Courtney Forti
Mystery and Misery
"Man, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard some good math rock. And I’ve never heard good math rock made by women. Excellent find."
Crusher Magazine
"Broadband understands how a wall of sound can make a song something hypnotically beautiful."
