About Me

I'm an industrial designer working in the music manufacturing industry. To see my work visit Line 6. I'm responsible for the look, feel, and overall aesthetic & useability of all Line 6 hardware; I only work on our software products in a support & 3D graphics capacity (knob animations on GuitarPort for example).

Besides design, I'm also a photographer specializing in product photography, but I've got a passion for travel photography and will do the occasional portraits, band photos, etc. and even shot a wedding recently. For examples of my personal photography check out my galleries at Smugmug .I am not particularly photogenic myself (go ahead and look, I'm not lying) but that's ok, I clean up ok when I have to. ;) I also take almost nothing seriously; life's too short to be uptight. ...oh, and if you catch me posting pics of myself with no shirt like 99% of the guys here, just shoot me!!! Thanks.

I'd like to meet:

Josh Hopkins

Add to My Profile | More VideosOld friends, new aquaintences, generally people who don't suck and have some gray matter between their ears.
It's always nice to meet people with an artistic swerve but who don't take themselves too seriously!
Note: Ladies, if you want me to add you as a friend, send me a message and at least introduce yourself. I'm not some hard-up teenager who's going to plaster every pretty face, with a dire need for attention, all over his page. If you have something to say, say it. If you want to be known, make yourself known. If you're looking to have some strangers slobber all over you, go somewhere else; there's no shortage of desperate guys on MySpace who are more than happy to convince themselves that you actually want them, personally, to consider you a "friend".

Music:

..
Online Videos by Veoh.comOh man, music? I listen to damn near everything except maybe R&B (I can't stand most lf the current choir-harmony R&B crap that is out, I much prefer R&B on the Soul side), I also listen to very little country (though I have an affinity for Chet Atkins & Jerry Reed in that genre). My iPod currently has everything from Brian Wilson to Megadeth and White Zombie to Frank Zappa.

Movies:

Anything funny or with lots of shit blowing up. If I see a movie once, I can likely recite every line from it on command ...handy skill that one. All I have left to say about movies is "Durka durka, mohammad jihad!" ....

Books:

I reed buks, cuz buks mak me smarterer.

...seriously, I like to read but rarely have the time. If I pick up a good book, I'll most likely burn through a couple hundred pages before I can bring myself to put it down. I think "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller is still my all time favorite book though.

Heroes:

Malcom Smith, Kenny Roberts, "Chesty" Puller, Both Presidents Roosevelt (for different reasons), Mom & Dad.
