About Me

What is Line 6?
For starters we’re not so much of a “what”, but more of a “we”.
We are, at our core, a group of people who are deep into music-making and the creative process. We focus on the guitarist’s experience, and we work to design gear that inspires creativity.
We’re here to make life easier, more fun and sound better. To that end, we believe in the power of freakin’ awesome gear. We also understand, however, that you’re not great because of the gear you play, but because of what you play with that gear. At the end of the day it’s all about the music you make and we’re simply here to help you do that.
The employees of Line 6 cover a broad musical spectrum… we’ve got people who play at every level and in many, many genres; that diversity is reflected in our line-up of products. We listen closely to our customers, our business partners and our artist endorsers to build gear that works the way people want to make music. We’re always looking for that new technology, that new feature, that new approach to an old kind of tool… anything that pushes the boundaries to allow guitarists more freedom to experiment, play and create.
We like to think of ourselves as playful and creative as well. If you’ve known Line 6 for a long time, then you know we dig Frankenstein amps, gnomes, sheep, monkeys, hippies, space travel, saw blades, snow globes, and Foxy Mule. We rock out, eat in, work hard, play harder, make noise, work to live, live to play and we do it pretty much all day, sometimes all night, most every day of the year.
In one way, though, we are more “what” than “we”. We are, ultimately, a community. We are diverse and varied in our musical tastes and expressions, but we are, in the end, unified by our love of music and belief in the empowerment of creativity.
