About Me

Jon and Amy Pattillo, native Austinites, launched Fat Caddy Records in the spring of 2004 by signing singer-songwriter Austin Collins. The roster has since grown to include artists Black Water Gospel, Macon Greyson, The Band of Heathens, and most recently, Brian Keane.
As Fat Caddy grows, the primary goals stay the same: (1) provide tools and support for artists, so those artists can do what they were created to do, full-time; (2) keep things in-house when possible to reduce costs for artists; and (3) support and give back to the incredible legacy of live music coming from Austin, Texas.
The Fat Caddy team continues to grow, currently including interns Whitney Rosenthal (video production & website management), Paige Newton (public relations), and Stephanie Green (merchandise management). Ty Schlegel provides additional logistical support on larger projects. Darren Cameron handles label relations and tour support in the Houston area.
In the fall of 2007, Fat Caddy Records is scheduled to release Macon Greyson’s fourth album and sophomore efforts by Black Water Gospel and Brian Keane. The Band of Heathens plan a studio project to follow their first collaboration, LIVE FROM MOMO’S, for release in the winter of 2008.
In addition, in March 2007, Fat Caddy Records is launching Fat Caddy Merchandise & Design which specializes in lifestyle marketing, web solutions, tour promotion and complete merchandise services.
