Bleak

Hailing from the dark alleys of Hollywood we give you a spiritual majestic pop mystical band expressing the sounds of darkness, we are proud to present to you, BLEAK. Comprised of four seasoned musicians, Bleak blends together a mixture of Vampire rock with an occasional Psychedelic twist. Their dark sound can create an overwhelming sense of despair at times (warning: do not listen to this music if you suffer from severe depression!). You can find some of the members of the band (Ace and Sic-O) at their favorite club the Bar Sinister on Saturday nites along with their personal photographer Sithvamp whose work is unparalleled. On the Bass we have Luis who's from L.A. He can play the four string, five string, fret-less, stand-up bass like no other mutha****** can! On the Keyboards we have Sic-O, another dark soul from L.A., his name says it all...... he is the "Phantom of the Opera" in the band. Next we have Rand who is a highly skilled drummer. Rand has a tribal style that can make about any drummer want to quit! Last but not least is Ace who was born and raised in the streets and back streets of Hollywood. Ace is the decomposer of all the Bleak material. Ace's Guitar playing and vocals are as somber as you can get. His ability to play the Guitar using an Ebow and at times the slide while singing, is very impressive. There's also another member who shouldn't be overlooked, their manager Sebastian, the man that seals the fate of every club owner or anyone interested in booking the band. On stage, these guys put on a show that can be summed up in two words, a "Dark Funeral". Their ominous sound combined with the candle-lit/fog filled stage is a reminder that Goth is still alive and well here in Hollywood. "Bleak is the dark sugar cube for your gothic tea..."
