The DC Guerrilla Poetry Insurgency (GPI) www.guerrillapoets.org is an anti-authoritarian, collaborative, pro-humanity artists' collective incorporating music, rhythm, spoken word, community and resistance.On the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, GPI holds a 7 - 9 pm OPEN MIKE NIGHT in Dupont Circle. Monday evening, 18 June 2007 represents my second or thrid time for capturing the GPI Open Mike Night in Dupont Circle.Though I captured several participants during the 18 June 2007 session, this particular video features Mohammed Alem, aka Mo, performing "The Flip Side Of A Coin".
