Growing up in a home with a single mother who wasnt saved and a gang related family wasnt a very good environment for a child. As I grew up there was never a real authority figure. I was free to do what I wanted. The adults were doing drugs and getting drunk and the kids were free to do what they wanted. Growing up in an environment like this, of course I fell into the same things. Experimenting with drugs (lsd, meth, crack cocaine, and of course marjiuana). The first time I took my first hit of a drug I was 12 years old. I was in bondage to marjijuana until I was 20 years old. I got into vandalizing and found myself getting in fights and living a life that wasnt good. As I lived in an unpure life I got a girl pregnant at 16 years old. Throughout this lifestyle hip-hop music had a big influence in my life. I first got introduced to hip-hop when I was 4 years old. There was something about the beat and the story lines in the music. I started writing my own raps about the things that I was around and my family. Becoming a father at a young age was a big responsibility. I didnt want to be like my father whom I didnt have a father-and-son relationship with.
Then a miracle happened. I met Jesus Christ. He forgave me for all the things that I did and made me new (2 Corinthians 5:17). The chains were broken, I was no longer addicted to drugs and an empty life style. As I started to read the Bible, God started revealing who He was. The Creator and the only true God (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1). I sense this calling on my life to use hip-hop music for God's glory.
The VISION :To lead the lost to Jesus Christ and to encourage the brethren through music. My prayer is that souls would be saved and lives would be changed. Maybe youre reading this and you know youre living a life thats wrong. You feel empty inside. You try to fill this emptiness with the things of this world, but youre never satisfied. Jesus said, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him, will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:13-14). "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13). "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23). "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23). "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one." (Romans 3:10). "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
