About Me

I have yet to meet anyone who could take me on in Family Guy trivia. In fact, I don't think I've met anyone who WANTS to take me on in Family Guy trivia.

My Interests

I have been nicknamed "Mr. Imdb" by my fellow employees at the movie theatre because I apparently kick ass in "Six Degrees"; I just recently started DDR and all I dream about now are those little arrows rising on the screen, but I still dream about my girlfriend too; I'm a huge Seattle Seahawks, LA Lakers and Hate the Sacramento Kings fan; Jack Bauer and James Bond could quite possibly be my idols; my girlfriend, Lindsey, recently got me hooked on the San Jose Sharks; and I love cinema. In case you didn't know, I see my career path heading that way...

I'd like to meet:

A number of people. Let's start with Sean Bean, Pierce Brosnan, Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Bateman, Piper Perabo, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Christopher Walken, Queen Latifah, Denzel Washington, Daniel Craig, Clive Owen, David Mamet, Michael Arntz, the list of filmmakers goes on and on...

Music:

I'll listen to anything once, but I'm really into movie soundtracks, Christian rock, and anything with a decent beat or something that makes me feel good.

Movies:

People always ask me "What is your favorite movie?" I never have a straight answer, but I thought about and here are my top 5:
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Star Wars-Episode IV (classic)
3. The Rock (Connery/Cage)
4. Die Hard
5. For now, Casino Royale...
Others that should make it:
Broken Arrow (guilty pleasure)
Memento
The Usual Suspects
GoldenEye
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Fight Club
Seven
The Emperor's New Groove
...The list goes on. If I have it, I like it and I have a lot of movies.

Since When Did Roseville Become a Verb?

Recently, I saw a truck with a bumper sticker that read "Don't Roseville Grass Valley". I'm sure you've seen them around. What really got me thinking was "Where is the verb in this sentence?" Being a ...

Students vs. Gunman: Who Will Win?

Recently, I read an article in "The Union" about schools teaching kids to fight back if a gunman enters the room and starts shooting up the place. They have been telling kids to "throw books, pencils,...

Can someone burn this please?

Every so often, a remake comes along that is truly better than the one that precedes it. It's updated so well, one may forget that there was even an original. "The Wicker Man" is not that remake. ...

Grand Grand Theft Auto

Something occurred to me. There is a video game that lets you be somebody you've always wanted to be when you get in the worst mood imaginable. This game is called "Grand Theft Auto". Where else can y...

The (Real) Game of Life

As I was looking through my game closet complete with ten different versions of Monopoly (will no one play with me?!?!), I got to thinking about board games. More specifically, the Game of Life. I thi...
