ATTACHMENT PARENT-style Parents! and especially LOCAL parents!
here's my mantra: the seven B's of attachment parenting from the Sears book "The Baby Book!" words to live by!
1. BIRTH BONDING! keep that baby close from the first second!
2. BREASTFEEDING! save time, save money, lose your inhibitions, and do the healthiest thing you can for you and baby--nutritionally AND emotionally!
3.BABYWEARING! don't know what i would do--literally--without my ring slings, pouches, and mei teis! they are a must have for any mommy! check out www.thebabywearer.com
4. BEDDING CLOSE TO YOUR BABY! co-sleeping has been our salvation time and time again! and i cherish a good baby cuddle!
5. BELIEF IN YOUR BABY'S CRIES! crying is communication! most parents who fear being manipulated by an infant, are fanatically trying to manipulate their babies first! just have compassion and stay cool, and listen like you would to anyone you love.
6. BEWARE OF BABY TRAINERS! no one enjoys being manipulated or pushed around, or forced to do things against their will--babies included! harmony is key--scheduling is an illusion! and babies were never meant to sleep through the night all alone. chill out and let that little person be who they need to be! we all have YEARS ahead of us of good sleep and free time!
7. BALANCE! the key to everything really! if you need help--ask for it! surround yourself with as much love and support as you can! remember to give and get plenty of hugs, kisses, and good meals!

don't blame me! i can't help it! i HAVE tried! but i LOVE this video! it makes me smile from beginning to end--for so many reasons! possibly the only good thing to come of the boy band revolution (besides "sons of provo")
