When you think of modern day southern rocknroll, the band that's gonna come to everyone's mind is the State Line Mob.Their bluesy/southern rock line up is a southern outlaw sound & image you can't forget.The band was formed in 2007 by Muscle Shoals area Alabama vocalists & songwriters Phillip Crunk and Dana Crunk.You can visit their myspace page by going to http://www.myspace.com/statelinemob to learn all about them & their music.This page is all about their General Lee & what makes it special to them.Phillip & Dana Crunk,proudly owns the 1968 Dodge Charger General Lee car thats with them on their cd cover of "Ruckus".The General Lee is a member of our family & has been in my family since my dad bought what would be my first General Lee when I was around 10 yrs old.This is my third General Lee & it's not to be confused with our 1970 model Dodge Charger "General Lee" that our song "American Beauty was written about Phillip says.That car is now just a memory along with my first 1969 General Lee that were sold at auctions last year,so we could have our current General Lee which is now "Our Official State Line Mob outlaw car".However,we have wrote a new song about our current General Lee.The song titled "Me & General Lee" is scheduled to be released this spring of 2008 as a single and/or could end up as an added bonus track of later future releases of "Ruckus".Phillip adds,"we know theres alot of proud General Lee owners & fans out there & this new song goes out to them".We will be performing this song as a standard for all of our State Line Mob shows.
