About Me

Better than a thousand hollow words is one word that brings peace.~ Buddha (560-483 B.C.)
I don't believe in coincedence and I know everything happens for a reason. Therefore, I much believe in fate. I am a proud and happy mother of a three year old, who lives for my daughter. She is everything to me and everything I am and more. I struggle within, as well as externally, but I undestand that this is not uncommon and I keep my faith and know all is well. I am a very spiritual person, but not so much religious. I have my own relationship with the Divine and I am pleased with it. I work hard everyday and look forward to having a pleasant time doing things I enjoy such as reading, writing, spending time with my loved ones and hangin' around outside.
"True religion is real living; living with all one's soul, with all one's goodness and righteousness."~Albert Einstein
"Oh, the comfort - the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person - having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away." ~Dinah Craik, A Life for a Life, 1859

My Interests

I am interested in life, the greatest gift. I am intrested in soul. I am interested in purpose and living mine. I am interested in healing and growing and learning.

I am totally intrested in my daughter's growth. Watching her blossom into a little girl is such a miracle. One I am proud to be a part of.

"Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death."~Anais Nin

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that I am connected to and haven't met yet.

Music:

"Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." ~Berthold Auerbach

"I got into Bob Marley, I got into reggae music. And that music just spoke to me and so it just became natural that when I started writing lyrics, and started singing them, they came out in that way.” ~Matisyahu Miller

GOOD LUCK!

BIG LOVE

Books:

Books are one of my pasttimes...they open endless oppritunities to gain knowledge and utilize one's imagination. I have found novels to be a great source of entertainment. Some of my favorite authors are Anne Lammott, Dean Koontz, Wally Lamb, and Barbara Kingsolver.

"Like all of us in this storm between birth and death, I can wreak no great changes on the world, only small changes for the better, I hope, in the lives of those I love." Dean Koontz

"I do not at all understand the mystery of grace - only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us." Anne Lamott

CURRENTLY READING:
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant

Heroes:

Hero is a strong word...I guess I could say my Grandfather, God rest his soul, is my hero...he raised 12 children and assisted in some of the grandchildren's upbringing, including mine. He was faithful to my grandmother until his dying day. He was hardworking and loving, and had faith in all people.

I admire a lot af people I know personally and not. There are too many to list, and this list would grow anyway as the days, months and years pass. I do admire my mother. She's a fighter, and one of the most loving people I know.

The world is a stage, but the play is badly cast.

Sometimes, I look in the mirror and although I see me as a whole, I am badly scrambled.  I wish there was this reset button that I could press, and "fix" myself, but there is not.  I know, i...

Back To Her Life. She Rests.

The moon was low and luminous, and the air was moist. As she pondered on what went wrong, she walked alone, not concerned with the time and what lies ahead. She just walked, and swirls of thoughts of ...

My very bestfriend once told me, "The inevitable happened."...now it's my turn.

Some emotions, so to speak, only happen once in ones lifetime. I cant imagine there being only one chance at ones destiny. If it, certainly, is destiny, it is inevitable, and there is nothing anyone ...

Answers to Awesome Zara's Interview Questions
