Baltimore, MD 21223Sowebofest is 4 weeks away from today! Sowebohemian Arts Festival is SOuth WEst BaltimOre's FREE homegrown arts festival.IIt was started 23 years ago and continues to change, transform and triumph to this day.
The theme for this year's festival is “Got Bohemian?†using the Got Milk slogan to highlight our hood's history of being a creative, artistic and bohemian community.
To define it as such we like the Wikipedia definition of bohemian as:
"can describe any person who lives an unconventional artistic life, where
self-expression is their highest value; art (acting, poetry, writing,
singing, dancing, painting, etc.) is a serious, if not central, part of
their life... By extension, Bohemia meant any place where one could live and
work cheaply, and behave unconventionally; a community of free souls beyondthe pale of respectable society. "
So Sunday May25th 12-9pm we will have 3 stages of music, beer,wine, food, arts vendors, an art show, a bunch of really cool, wacky street art activities, including a giant conga line through the festival and painting sailboat sails stretched across the street ...
