I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm Mexican, Puerto Rican, American, an adoptee, an artist, a vegetarian, and, recently, a new cat lover - shhh please don't tell my dog She-She - living in Cleveland. Making mounts for one-of-a-kind art pieces at the Cleveland Museum of Art keeps the tofu on the table and sustains my art addiction. I love wearing my knitted and crocheted hats, it's very, very rare for anyone to see my bald noggin. Overall, I'm a cool, relaxed being, enjoying my moments here and trying to help people when I can.

My Interests

Anything art-related, reading, excercising, petting Tehn-Tehn's belly (my cat), making Linda smile and laugh, my latin heritage, indigenous and tribal cultures, history, mythology, animals, philosophy, words, walking, vegan cupcakes, listening to people's personal stories, the holocaust, jogging, Lucky's cafe weekend brunches, biting off my nails, pancakes, singing even though I can't, music, movies, observing nature, world religion, buddhism, helping people out, creating peace, and many other things that keeps me conscious and relative.

I'd like to meet:

Besides my biological parents, anyone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. People that are open-minded and know how to make themselves happy.

Music:

I listen to everything....louder the better, if linda's not around, but not too much of death metal or country.

Movies:

Documentaries, foreign films, drama, thrillers, animation, cartoons, and comedies.

Television:

The Office, American Idol, PBS programming, Miami Ink, and LA Ink.

Books:

I read everything but prefer non-fiction materials and Art books! Or novels on Latin American experience. As of now I enjoy the stories by Rudolfo Anaya.

Heroes:

My mom, my fiancee Linda, friends, El Che Guevara, Mother Teresa, Gandi, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kahlo, Jose Clemente Orozco, teachers, and all the service men and women who are defending and providing aid to those in need around the Globe. And to any U.S. or global leaders that can help end this war in Iraq and the genocides that are happening in today's world.
