About Me

I’m pretty laid back. I enjoy roadtrips and adventures, exploring new things, being "that guy" who takes all the photos at parties and events, and chatting about most anything, but especially life's quirks and the arts. I like to appreciate the little things in life, be optimistic about the future, and strive to improve myself every day.
I immerse myself in music by doing live music photography, interviewing bands and organizing shows , and I might even have a music project up my sleeve. I’m also the publicist and secondary photographer for my favorite bay area music act, Kungfu Vampire .
I love reading and browsing bookstores, and I was a professional writer , but now I just do it for fun . I often find myself proofreading other’s stuff, and then finding unintentional humor in text. It’s how my brain works. I attend college full-time, although I’m taking the quarter off to take a breather.

I just finished three of Chuck Palahniuk's books (Lullaby, Invisible Monsters and Choke), and have been chipping away at books on photography, fitness and massage. I also listen to audiobooks while at the gym, including Fast Food Nation.Faves?Coming Up for Air by George Orwell Island of the Blue Dolphin (yeah, it's for teens, shaddup!)
