Tristen Citrine
Tristen Citrine has been a highly active (and highly orange) Cosplayer for over seven years with no sign of slowing down. She comes from a strong creative background having worked professionally in the costuming departments for several Las Vegas productions as well as a slew of special events and fashion shows. Presently, she is an owner of the wonderfully successful Cosplay themed business, CosWorx, where she puts her talents to use by helping cosplayers find the perfect wigs and accessories for their costumes. She anxiously awaits seeing everyone's lovely costumes at AnimeUSA and getting to interact with cosplayers be it in panels or just walking around the convention.

BACK-ON
BACK-ON's combination of metal riffs, hip-hop poses, emo angst and electronic atmospherics has seen them cause a stir of sorts in the Tokyo club scene since the five-piece first started gigging in 2002. It's a sound not dissimilar to big-selling contemporaries such as RIZE, whose member Jesse gave BACK-ON their name.
BACK-ON was originally comprised of MC TEEDA, vocalist MC KENJI03 (read as Kenji Three), guitarist SHU, bassist GORI and MACCHIN on drums (later replaced by ICCHAN). KENJI03 and GORI have been friends since childhood having attended the same primary school in Tokyo's Adachi Ward, a district that by Japanese standards is rife with crime and high-density, public-housing apartment blocks. Though Adachi isn't Compton - ghetto it most certainly ain't - this less than glamorous background is a big part of BACK-ON's identity, giving the band something approaching a genuine street edge compared to Japan's other bling-oriented rock-rap acts. BACK-ON debuted with the mini-album Adachi Tribe in October 2004. The band also contributed tracks to underground hip-hop compilations and, by the end of the year, was attracting 200 fans to club shows in Tokyo's Shibuya district. The following year BACK-ON kept the momentum going with constant touring - by the end of 2005 the band had clocked up more than 100 shows in a year - including gigs with like-minded bands such as RIZE and Screaming Soul Hill, and recording their debut major release, Baby Rock, for Avex Trax's rock-oriented subsidiary imprint label, Cutting Edge.
But it was BACK-ON's next release, the 2006 single Chain, that truly launched the band, the song receiving a boost by being chosen as the opening theme song to TV Tokyo's animate Air Gear, a series that has also been licensed in the U.S by ADV. Typically, the track featured TEEDA's rapping and a chorus sung by KENJI03. Another mini-album New World followed in November. BACK-ON kept the anime connection going in 2007 by providing the opening theme, Hikari Sasuhou, to the direct-to-video title Murder Princess and contributing the songs, A Day Dreaming and Blaze Line, to Eye Shield 21.

Kristine Sa
A young singer/songwriter with a sultry voice of gold, Kristine Sa immigrated to Toronto, Canada at the age of 6. Watching her older sister rise to fame as a singer in the local music industry, she harbored dreams of her own but kept them to herself. Secretly writing songs and recording them in her basement, she hid her growing talent for years. At the age of 16, she was referred by a friend to Nemesis Records, who instantly signed her. For 2 years Kristine flew back and forth between Toronto and New York on the weekends to record with Nemesis while going to high school full time. Through internet promotions and word-of-mouth, Kristine's buzz quickly grew within the Asian community, and when her debut album "I Never Knew" was released in February 2002, sales exploded and CDs were sold to fans all over the US and as far away as The UK, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Kristine Sa has since continued to build her worldwide following with her unique brand of pop, releasing 3 full-length English language albums and a Japanese language pop remix project for Jellybean Records. On that project, entitled AnimeToonz3, Kristine sings remixes of Anime's biggest theme songs including Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Seed and Ranma 1/2. Kristine's recently released 3rd full length album "Hopeless Romantic" incorporates eastern instrumentation together with western sounds and pop sensibility to create a soundscape unlike any other. With the album singles "Don't Come Home" and "Consequence" already receiving airplay on major radio stations across the country and her new music video for "Consequence" showcasing Kristine's style, beautiful voice, poetic lyrics and catchy melodies, "Hopeless Romantic" is sure to define Kristine Sa as a worldwide pop phenomenon.
