Political leanings: Conservative for Seattle....liberal in my family... depends on the issue. Favorite expensive hobby: TRAVELLING I worked/lived in Zurich Switzerland so I travelled around quite a bit. The travel bug bit. Greece, France, Spain, Mallorca, Italy, Germany, Hungary, England, and Ireland. Favorite travel spots: Ireland- it makes me feel a wee bit at home to be there but ahhh for fucks sake, Kylie, do they have to cuss so much! Greece.... such peace to float and open your eyes to white architecture gripping the cliffs and the blue waters surrounding you. Scariest travel spots: Almost drowning in the water on the same float that I was floating on...it kept flipping in the wind and I kept swimming after it....or a close second might be the crazy greek, car chasing us through the villages and mountain road. Hmmm Anita which do you choose? Hey why didn't you swim out to save me! ;-) Languages spoken with a vocabulary of 10 or more words(From highest to lowest:-) ) : Spanish, German, Italian, French, Russian, Greek and Hungarian. Last Trip: Anchorage, Alaska April, 2006(usually go twice a year) Will camp or hike when necessary...the hearty Alaskan roots can take it. Seattle hasn't completed changed me...I still give a smile to those I don't know!! Although people have stopped saying,"You're not from around here are you?" Update...OK someone said it to me yesterday on the bus...how I smiled and greeted her...well she continued to talk to me for the entire bus ride with her life story. I must have that face that people feel comfortable opening up to or maybe I was just an ear for the moment... Wow the positive about that conversation was that I learned my life is good for the moment.

Hmmmm I can listen to alllllmost anything ....and enough times you grow some sort of an appreciation! Some favorites: Led Zepplin, Cold Play, Weezer, Dave Matthews, Iz, Taj Mahal, Stevie Wonder, Sade, Cowboy Junkies, Sarah McLachlan, Nora Jones, Aimee Mann, Blondie, Chieftains, Gypsy Kings, Bazouki music.. more and more...can I name 400CDs?

Television:

News.,CSI(original), Lost, True Crime shows, Seinfeld(Never once watched when it was on!). No cable but like Sex in the City and the occasional Discovery Channel special... Three's Company- This was a staple in my afterschool rerun schedule

Books:

The Giving Tree. Last one: House of Sand and Fog....really well written but ....your heart is heavy and sad for days after.
